Just thought we haven't done a VanUE social in a while. When the next part of the Canucks schedule is released, I'll check to see what might be a good night to meet at a pub for a drink. Anyone interested? Sometime in May or ... Read moreJune. Any suggestions for a good place for drinks that can seat and stand about 20 people, somewhere downtown or on the Drive?

"Suburban" Meetups
I'd really like to see if VanUE could arrange to hold meetings out in the suburban regions of the Lower Mainland from time to time. For example, a Richmond meeting, a Tri-Cities meeting or a Surrey/Langley meeting.

I live in Port ... Read moreMoody and have recently started working in Langley, making it very difficult to get out to VanUE meetings which have, up to now, been held in Downtown Vancouver. It would be nice if the group could plan to hold a meeting at at least one suburban location from time to time. As a suggestion, we could plan to schedule a "suburban meeting" once a quarter, rotating between (for example) "Richmond", "Burnaby and New Westminster", "Tri-Cities (Port Moody, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam)" and "Fraser Valley (Delta, Surrey, Langley), so that each region gets a meeting once a year.
